Facebook Forced Timeline, Users Disappointed - Facebook's decision that requires Timeline feature for all users is fairly reckless. This social networking giant seems do not concern with the user desires. Like it or not, they are forced to use the feature.
As we know, Facebook began releasing a notification that the feature is immediately enforced. Facebook users were given seven days to do a 'clean', sorting out the things that won’t be displayed and want to display on their profile page.
These changes will not only create a Facebook profile displaying the latest status, but also the entire history of the use of the user's Facebook account.
It makes anything that you have ever done in Facebook, not only status updates but also photos, videos and their activities from year to year will appear in one screen.
Facebook seems to forget, this coercion could violate users' privacy rights. They were not given the option to not use this feature if they do not want it. As a result, predictably, critics began to flow from some the users.
"Facebook Timeline is simply rubbish feature. I prefer old appearance that more simple” said Irfan, one of Facebook users.
Other Facebook user, Adina, mentions that the presence of the Timeline makes the display of profile looks dizzying. However, Adina now is claiming that the new display look better and attractive. "I consider the Timeline view is more sophisticated than it first," she said.
