7 Highlighted Things in Nikon D800 - Nikon has just released the 'monster' that is named Nikon D800, only 2 weeks after D4 launch. This is a full frame camera that priced at USD 3,000 (body only).

See the further specification, here are seven things that should be highlighted from the Nikon D800:

1.      Sensor
It has a full frame sensor that very large with a very strong resolution too, 36.3 million pixels. This is a full-frame sensor with the highest resolution in the world. Nikon promises that the sensor capable to produce images with low noise and wide dynamic range.

2.      File Size
With the number of pixels, file size certainly will be huge. Nikon said that RAW file has size of 76 MB. Meanwhile for 16bit TIFF, its file size reaches 212.1 MB.

3.      Sensitivity
Nikon claims that the noise that is produced from Nikon D800 is almost equal. Its sensitivity range from ISO 100 - 6400 in standard mode, it can be lowered to 50 and increased up to 25 600.

4.      Autofocus system
Nikon D800 is provided with autofocus system that same with its brother,D4. That is the 51-point autofocus, AF and AF-area mode selection also possible without moving the view of the viewfinder.

5.      Ful HD video
D800 video capabilities also like D4, with a frame rate of 30, 24 and 25p to 1080p and 50p and 60p to 720p. It also has output clean HDMI and 2 different crop offering.

6.      Ergonomic
D800 has a different body sizes with D700. But apparently it has a weight that is 10% lighter than its predecessor. The layout of buttons also has good arrangements so make it easier for users.

7.      D800E
Nikon also released ‘E’ edition coincided with the release of D800. To bring this D800E, consumers have to spend money around USD 634. This series promises a better picture detail but with a risk of moire.
